The Illinois Department of Public Health - Division of Vital Records's Office is the central office for the state of Illinois and it issues certified copies of Springfield birth certificates, Springfield death certificates and Springfield marriage records for events that occurred in Springfield. You may order copies of Illinois vital records through this office or, in some cases, the office of the county clerk where the deed happened.
