The New Mexico Bureau of Vital Records and Health Statistics's Office is the central office for the state of New Mexico and it issues certified copies of Santa Fe birth certificates, Santa Fe death certificates and Santa Fe marriage records for events that occurred in Santa Fe. You may order copies of New Mexico vital records through this office or, in some cases, the office of the county clerk where the deed happened.

The New Mexico Vital Records office has birth and death records going back to 1920 and delayed records since 1880. For marriage and divorce certificates, citizens must visit the County Clerk in the relevant county.
