The North Dakota Department of Health - Division of Vital Records's Office is the central office for the state of North Dakota and it issues certified copies of Burleigh birth certificates, Burleigh death certificates and Burleigh marriage records for events that occurred in Burleigh. You may order copies of North Dakota vital records through this office or, in some cases, the office of the county clerk where the deed happened.

The department has some birth records starting in 1870, however the years 1870 to 1920 are incomplete. Some death records go back to July 1893, but records between 1894 and 1920 are incomplete.
